  1. What is CatwalkConference.com?
    CatwalkConference.com is a web-based online tool that allows you to collaborate, make presentations, and share applications – all with a pc connected to the Internet. Because CatwalkConference.com is a hosted solution, there is no hardware or software to purchase. It is powered by IBM Lotus Web Conferencing (Sametime). top

     
  2. How does it work?
    CatwalkConference.com is offered on a subscription basis or pay-as-you-go. Once you sign up, you will receive a userid and password. Your userid and password identifies you and gives you access to your secure environment. We will help you to provide a link from your website to easily access the tool. Once you have logged in with your userid and password you are able to access all the features and functionality the tool provides. top

     
  3. What does it cost?
    Our regular fees are based on a monthly subscription depending on the number of participants and the frequency of use. This includes the branding of your secure environment, all product enhancements, training, the initial setup of userids and the addition of your company to our infrastructure. To keep it simple, should you go over the number of participants you have subscribed to, as defined in your specified program in any month, you will be billed at $20/person/per hour.

    The optional telephony features are billed separately based on usage. We also have a pay-as-you-go fee program for occasional needs as well as pricing for special events. For specific pricing plans and programs, download our Price list now.  top
     
  4. How does your product compare with other products on the market?
    In theory all web conferencing programs function the same. However, we have added specific enhancements to Catwalkconference.com including

  5. What are the system requirements?
    Supported client operating systems:
    • Windows XP
    • Windows 2000 Professional SP3
    Supported web browsers:
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher with its native VM or Sun Java 1.4.1 or higher
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 with its native VM
    • Mozilla 1.4.1 with Sun Java 1.4.1 or higher
    Although not officially supported, Sametime can also work with Windows 95/98 and MacIntosh OS X using Internet Explorer as the browser.  top
     
  6. Do I need to purchase hardware or software?
    That’s the beauty of a hosted solution. No additional hardware or software will need to be purchased to use CatwalkConference.com, including the integrated teleconferencing.   top
     
  7. How secure will my material be during a conference?
    There a several options available that will allow you to control how secure your meeting will be. The default for all meetings is that RC2-128 bit encryption is turned on. At the meeting level, you also may add an additional level of security by assigning a password to your meeting. When a meeting is password protected participants will need to know the password to see that a meeting is scheduled or in progress. There is an additional option to select the names of the people that you wish to have participate in a meeting. Only those people that have been selected to attend the meeting will have access to that meeting. It’s up to you to determine the level of security you wish to implement.   top
     
  8. How do you support me during a meeting?
    Our live support meets your needs - in real time in two ways:
    • Handling questions/challenges that arise in mid-meeting
    • Opening up instant chat windows to support individual team members

  9. How much training is required?
    Our tool has been designed to make it easy for you. In no time you will become an expert. There is online help available that provides details on all the features and functionality of the tool.

    Need one-on-one training? For our customers that subscribe to our service, one-on-one training with a live instructor is available at no cost. Also available is a recording that can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you just have a quick question or forgot how to do something just use our “Support” Chat link to have it be answered by our staff.  top
     
  10. Does it support other languages?
    If you have meetings with international prospects or clients, CatwalkConference.com will automatically check to see what language a participant’s pc is setup to use. CatwalkConference.com supports 29 different languages including Russian and Japanese. What this means is that your participants in other countries will see the menu options and all the information that is static within the tool in their language. You will, however, have to have your actual presentation materials translated if necessary (i.e. PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, Documents, etc). Also, private and public chat are not translated.   top
     
  11. I'm not very technical, how complicated is it to use?
    If you have a pc and the ability to log onto the Internet, you can use our online meeting tool. You do not have to be a techie of any kind to use the product. We work with your attendees to ensure that their computers have the ability to get into the meeting and we are available, live, during meetings if problems arise.   top
     
  12. Does it work with MacIntosh?
    Although not officially supported, you can generally use MacIntosh OS 10.x.x with Internet Explorer 5.5 to access the tool.   top
     
  13. Our biggest problem occurs when key people are called away on pressing business and miss the meeting. How can we capture the web meeting for their review at a later date?
    CatwalkConference.com has the capability to record any meeting for future use and viewing. You must have a sound card and a microphone for all participants in a meeting to capture the audio portion of the meeting. If you are using a teleconference call for your meeting you will need a microphone that can attach to your phone and your pc.   top
     
  14. What changes will I have to make to my current website to have meetings?
    No changes are required to your website to have meetings. When meetings are scheduled there is an email notification that will be sent to those invited to the meeting. This notification will have a link that will take your participants directly to the meeting. If it is desired, Catwalk will work with you or your staff to add a link or button to your website that will direct participants to a branded site within the CatwalkConference.com environment.   top
